Began coaching in the early 80’s and has been active as an organization development and executive coach to hundreds of business leaders, and other coaches ever since. Her one goal has always been to achieve lasting, best-in-class results for her clients. An advocate for a pragmatic and customized approach and “action/experiential learning,” she is a master practitioner building true leadership skills with her clients. Her expertise and advanced training in emotional intelligence, positive psychology, neuroscience, conflict management, and dialogue, coupled with her positive energy and savvy, has enabled her successful support of C-suite leaders, teams, and individuals on strategy and alignment of competencies for both personal and bottom line success.

    Diane’s roots as a high school English teacher and her MA degree in Career Development have led her to support people of all ages in career management.  She understands life inside organizations, having held senior-level positions in  in Advanced Micro Devices and CSAA.

    In the early 1990’s she founded Executive Development International LLC, coaching primarily in the Silicon Valley. She went on to found Diane Foster and Associates, as a sole proprietorship, resulting in successful long-term contracts consulting and coaching in every industry and sector.

    Certified a Master Coach by the International Coaching Federation, she is known for building coaching cultures with her internal HR colleagues and other coaches as a mentor coach. A program that she designed and supported at the U.S. Dept. of Labor, called “Coaching for High Performance with Emotional Intelligence,” using her Skill Kit for Leaders doubled productivity in the targeted leaders’ offices and achieved dramatic gains in “EI”.

    In addition to her client work, she has been extended faculty for UCSF in their MHROD program, John F. Kennedy University’s Coaching Certificate program, and has been the Director of ICF Competency Development for both the College of Executive Coaching and the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland’s Coaching Certificate programs where she has trained and mentored hundreds of other coaches.

  • Prior to joining Line of Sight, Charlie spent 20 years at Caterpillar’s Financial Services division serving in a variety of executive leadership roles in the US, Europe and Asia. As Managing Director of Caterpillar’s financing arm for power systems in Asia, Charlie worked extensively to expand Cat’s finance footprint across Australia, China and SE Asia. He had P&L responsibility while leading and developing a team that grew the business from greenfield to a half-billion dollar operating unit.
